Losing a loved one is hard enough. No family should also face a financial crisis at the worst possible time. Funeral costs in the UK can easily reach £5,000 or more, and for many families that expense arrives with no warning and no time to prepare.
The Community Funeral Support Fund (CFSF) was founded under Quba Masjid & Education Centre to change that. By pooling a simple £300 joining contribution, then £200 a year, from member families across London, CFSF ensures that when a family needs it most, the essential costs of a funeral are already covered.
Our vision is simple: to ensure that no family in our community bears the financial burden of funeral costs alone, fostering unity and compassion through collective support. It's a fund built by the community, for the community, run purely to serve, never for profit.
